I love when Pitt is in the car and the girl waves at him the second time she saw him and visually asked for a ride and Pitt motioned he wasnt going that way. The girl does the fake cry and Pitt just shrugs, like too bad and drives away. Brilliant acting and a brilliant scene with no dialogue.

Ever since I saw the film last week I cannot get it out of my mind & cannot stop romanticizing about it, this feels like a cinematic masterpiece. With shades: 60-70% like bruce lee without shades: 10-20% like bruce lee fighting skills: 0% like bruce lee. When I was five, my mother, who was twenty-five, married a 45-year-old crusty sea captain who ran the deep-sea marina on Ft. Myers Beach back in the 80s. He had leather skin, wore jean shorts and Keds, drank PBR and used to punch me around. But boy, Brad Pitt looks exactly like him in this movie. I mean, like, a spitting image. Yeah, he knocked the sh!t out of me as a kid, but at the same time, he had this kinda old-school Hollywood look to him, like Brad here, or even Clark Gable. I understand now why my mom was attracted to him, even though she was so much younger than him. I forgave him years later, and he died from melanoma.

I enjoy all of Tarantinos movies, but I think this is the first one that ever made me respect him as an individual. It would have been so easy to milk the tragedy and give Manson more scenes, but this almost felt like he was trying to give Tate one more movie to shine in. The Manson Family got famous for what they did to her, but her memory always winds up taking a back seat to the spectacle of Manson. The moment Rick starts speaking to them after the point in time when they would have been honestly made me cry and gave me chills, like he was giving them their voice back. It was so sweet to give them that ending.

Cliff is the coolest character in movie history. I read McQueen was rude and used to have a slang street language in real life. There were a few scenes where I got scared, especially when Brad Pitt's character was at the ranch. Quentin should think about doing a horror film, he has the suspense down perfectly.
